Love how you explain this honey! "Not really being here" is something that gets understood totally differently in the psychology world π so it was awesome reading how it's like for you.
Thank you, Ulla. I never questioned reality before I reached 50 years old but now I know what powerful and enriching tool imagination is. It enables us to change perspective on our life all the time and choose which one is the more relevant to us. I love your road map game, the analogy is so accurate. Yet, sometimes it can be hard to come back to « here and now » old town you still live in... Lots of love.
What if the old town βhere and nowβ is as moldable as those other towns? What if you zoom in to the old town and see all the beautiful patina, trees that have been there for centuries, the friends youβve known for decades? Would that change your perception of the old town?
The thing is, I am currently building new buildings, repainting façades with new beautiful colours and it takes so much time! You know what they say about construction: you know when it starts but never when it will be finished... But I understand perfectly your point and agree with it. Cheers!
Oh, you have a physical renovation going on! All my towns are all imaginary mind towns, basically moments in your life. Lot less physical effort and time π
I love renovations but they do take up a lot of energy. I hope it all goes smoothly and effortlessly from here on out!
It really is! ππ½ The beauty of this exercise is that youβre not emotionally attached to the outcome so you let go off all the negative expectations of how, what, where, and really let yourself experience energetic expansion.
Oh I have the most beautiful place I go to when I meditate, I go there when I need healing. When I've been through a difficult day, or if I'm missing someone or an animal that means a lot to me...
I once tried to describe it, but I couldn't find the right words at the time... it's like my head was blocking my dictionary part and nothing came up... I even tried to draw it, but it kept changing slightly whenever I thought it was done...

π€£ I didnβt even think this might mean something to anyone else. I wonder what that means in psychology π€π
